Riot is choosing what dominates each season...

first it was mages i think...then assassins, then the fighters,then the tanks...now its the adcs....maybe the cycle will reset on itself...0_0

Simply put, SOMETHING is going to generally dominate in a given season. Riot tries to curb this as best as they can. But the moment players see what champ is the strongest thanks to pro players, you're going to see fotm champs left and right.
