Whats the deal with matchmaking?

I more often than not win lane. the laning phase of the game is quite trivial most of the time. Every so often i have a bad game and feed my a** off but rarely. the mid to late game rolls around and often consists of me joining my team to find that 3 out of the 4 or 4 out of 4 other roles couldn't handle their position and proceed to drag me into their loss. I'm not getting what i'm doing wrong. I have been playing much more serious this season but cant climb. This is a problem. The matchmaking. i'm getting matched with players that lose lane too often and it isn't fair. just because i cant hyper carry my team doesn't mean i should be forced into a league that i don't belong in. I think its a fat issue and i'm fearing i'll give up on league after getting placed with fresh level 30s that don't understand the concept of kiting. Thank you for your time Sincerely, an unhappy summoner.

Lol yeah it's actually ridiculously hard. I remember playing with and against plats, diamonds, and even a master once in norms even though I'm currently silver 1, and I just remember thinking to myself the whole time "how the heck are these guys even above me?" because they played like garbage. Not just mechanically, but on a macro level too they were worse than some gold players I've seen. I am not flaming anyone who is in ANY rank btw (or unranked for that matter), but I am just shocked at how these people are much higher ranked than me yet play so poorly. I refuse to believe that you can get to high diamond while not knowing how to play support at least decently.

Either these guys bought their accounts or the matchmaking just put them with great teams and against bad ones every game. It truly is ridiculous.

You can notice that their matchmaking is totally flawed when you win. That way, you can judge more fairly: and you will notice that the other team will probably have lost the way you usually lose, i.e. getting stomped.

The large amount of stomping/being stomped is due to the forced 50% win ratio, of course :P
