I'm not a support main, but I can imagine that it would really suck for support mains to have to be seperated from their adc duo partner, and even vice versa. I know that they can just play dynamic, but really your dynamic rank doesn't mean much as you can just 5 man with a bunch of smurfs and get relatively high elo.
This is exactly the point of solo vs duo que rank separation. One shows how strong you can be with 4 other randoms, the other shows how well you and those you are familiar with play together.
Not really... I mean it effects ADC mains just as much. And the other team is in the exact same situation. Its much healthier than a team of soloqueue'ers playing against a duo bot. Now its guaranteed if you solo queue, the other team will be a bunch of randoms too. I rather like that change.
