so, I was just playing jax top, and the enemy laner is a lb, she goes triforce into AD(should've gone AP, but thats not the point).
what do I do? i cant engage because she w's away, roots me and keeps attacking me. if i don't engage she keeps poking me.
I just ended up rushing zzrot full tank jax because i literally could not touch her, we won the game in the end.. but yeah.
This champion is literally the anti melee.
I laned against ap Leblanc top as Zac
The trick is to outsustain lb top with most toplaners, as she has none herself save corruption pot start.
She can try to burst but sustain makes it very difficult for her trades to be successful for two things
Sustain is Op.
Her w and q gets hella expensive and without any meaningful dents to her opponent she actually runs oom quick.
Dodge the chain and kill her? She is super squishy. Jax can burst her.

Pres Q+W now she has to recall or she is dead if you repeat the action
You played the matchup right. You can't do much until after the laning phase so you just have to survive and then you can smash her after that.
How to play as 
Stay behind your minions, give up some cs if u have too. Don't get baited.
Reach 6, go back. Come back to lane with smore MR and now you're ready to trade and to fucking win because you're fucking JAX! Op champion.
