Venting/Asking for help on ADC/Caitlyn

Hmmm. Alright so I main mid, and currently secondary jg, but I really love playing bot lane. However, I am ok during laning phase and complete garbage in team fights. I need a lot of help with ADCs. Also, I never understand how I see videos of people melting with ADCs and when I do it I'm tickling the tanks, and I am following the right build it seems. On top of that, I don't really know how to kite. Like how do you kite so effectively with that attack move thing? Idk how to do that so all I do is use my mouse, and I usually mess it up and start walking towards the enemy instead of autoing them.

Ok, so for ADCs I want to play, I really enjoy Vayne, Ashe, and Caitlyn. I'm pretty good at vayne, it's just kiting problems, but Ashe and cait are another story. I just have no idea what to do in teamfights, can't trap or net effectively, can't do any damage.

Any tips would be appreciated.

First step on attack-move is to bind it so that you don't need to confirm it with a click. I have it set so that if I hit "a" on the keyboard, Cait attack-moves to wherever the cursor is without further input.

So if it's

<--------Caitlyn ----------Garen

With the < being my mouse pointer, I can hit "a" to attack move, and she'll turn to hit garen, then as soon as the shot goes off, I right click and she keeps moving away from him. No need to move the pointer from her left to garen and back to her left over and over.

The best advice I can give you is go into customs and practice CSing and then also practice kiting skills. Its difficult at first to issues move command followed by an attack command followed by a move command (etc) but practice makes perfect. I actually found it useful to bind attack move to my left mouse button and normal move to my right mouse button but you should really do what feels most comfortable for you.

Its difficult to give you specific advice without reviewing your replays. I recommend checking out lol-coaching.com and getting someone to review your replays and give you some advice. There's tons of coaches who do this stuff for free (myself included.) Here's my profile for example: https://www.lol-coaching.com/coach.php?id=42168
