Why DQ is actually bad? From a low elo view.
So recently I saw Haunts post about Dynamic Queue, and well I know it's something common to talk about on the forums. Now I'm no Master player or high elo. So I saw how people say thing such as "Competitive players only a fraction", or stuff like "If you need something change you need more than just the small percentage of players on the forum"
So, I began to question Riot's action. Mainly Dynamic Queue. Upon the announcement a lot of players was happy, we can play rank with multiple people. But with this system it became the worst thing over time for those who actually want a challenge. Because well like haunt said. This became an RNG queue. You either get teamed with those who actually equal to your skill level or better.
I want me and my team to lose on our own plays and skill level. Not because enemy team is 5man premade vs an all solo Q team. Yea we have pings, but those pre-made who actually communicate vocally kinda have the up advantage. And even if those 5 players not on voice chat, they still know each other play style. So the "Similar Skill Level" goes from "Silver vs Silver" vs "Bronze vs Masters"
It's cool riot wants to push the friend factor. But some of us like to play solo and improve. Not everyone can grab friends for rank every game. Not everyone likes to make new friends.
And what makes RIOTS decision for these things even worst is that; the forums is kinda useless. At the end of the day, your average league of legends player won't care about the patch notes, they won't stay up the date on who strong and whose not, or who to ban, and they won't come on the forums to make a post. Most players just want to log in and play.
