Your Thoughts on Ekko

I'm returning to the game after about a year of not playing any League. Before that year of inactivity I played League since the early parts of Beta. So now that I'm getting back into the swing of things one of the first steps is to update myself on the champions that have released since I left. One of the few that really caught my attention is Ekko. I already impulse purchased him and from the few games I've played so far I feel like he fits my play style enough to stick with. I want your thoughts on Ekko in general. How good do you feel he is overall when compared to other champs with the same job? Is he a good/viable or a troll pick? Are there any builds that work well for him that aren't his obvious build choices? Are there any particular strategies that work best for him? I just want your thoughts, help me get to know this new (to me) champion.

Favorite champion in the game.

Tank Ekko is the best cause it allows you to set up your W in teamfights for the stun, and allows you to get it off without dying. So 2 AP items, and the rest armor/MR.

Ekko is awesome, his outplay potentially is probably the best in the game other than Zed's. He's super squishy if he goes full AP.

Hey, Ekko is a pretty fun champ. Not my thing but I do get the occasional game in on him. He's definitely viable to those that can handle all of the stuff they need to pay attention to.

He's a pretty good AP assassin. In comparison to Kassawin, I'd say he's less reliable in terms of damage, but much more safe post-6. That said, you basically win a fight if you land your ult.

One thing that I love doing- try to ult into your W with an enemy in it, Keep in mind W will be active after 3 SECONDS, and his ult goes back 4 SECONDS.
