Does Varus's W Proc Deathfire Touch?
Does
's W Proc Deathfire Touch?
Does
's W Proc Deathfire Touch?
I don't think so.
Negative. Deathfire Touch is a spell effect. Blighted Quiver's damage is applied as an on-hit effect and does not apply spell effects.
who cares people will take deathfire for a caster varus buil dfor his q. while w does not ptroc deathfire becuase his w is not a ability his w procs rageblade, hence why that build is my fav build and by far the most fun build on varus and he loses no dps building like that.

Lol who cares? If literally every auto attack proc'd Deathfire Touch Varus would be absolutely broken. It is a completely valid question. Also, his W is an ability, but it is a passive that deals bonus on-hit damage and applies stacks that can be consumed by other abilities to deal additional % max health magic damage.
becuase his w is AA not ability..........you want broken kass w procs spellblade, ludens echo, and static shiv all at once and deathfire touch
becuase his w is AA not ability..........
.. No. Just because it enhances his auto attacks does not mean it is not an ability, but I'm not going to argue semantics with you.

Yeah, that is because it is one of the few abilities in the game that applies both on-hit and spell effects. You forgot to mention that it is also an auto attack reset, and it restores a % of his missing mana.
But, it also requires that he be at a range of 200 units from his target, which puts him in much significantly more danger than Varus. Kassadin and Varus are completely different classes of champions, with totally different playstyles. Varus is a pretty safe marksman and Kassadin is a risk vs reward assassin mage.
I just used kass in general .. people don't know about that on hit with his w and if you time it right with rage blade you'll literally 1 shot anyone. Everything on his w will double cast however it is hard to do. But I build varus from now on how one would build kog maw. Rageblade nashors blade of the ruined runaans. Cd boots or what ever ones it doesn't matter. And last item is of your choosing I normally get lord dom because that counts as on hit extra damage or you could get hextech triforce hourglass or wits end as a 6th item .but his w is not a activated ability . I mean people didn't know azir soldiers procd spell vamp every time they attacked .that varus build on tf is stupid broken his e double casting

I am positive that Spellblade, Echo, Shiv Lightning, Deathfire Touch, the % mana restoration, and the bonus magic damage on hit from Kassadin's W ability are only applied once no matter how you time his attacks with Guinsoo's Rageblade. If you have ever had that happen it is an unintended glitch and you should report it.
Well you are at least more correct this time. Varus's W is not an active ability, but it is still an ability. If you don't put a point into his W he does not gain the passive benefit, so it is an ability.
As for Azir, they proc'd spell vamp because their attacks are abilities, not auto attacks. As such, they apply spell effects.
It's not a glitch it's how it's supposed to be. All that crap is on hit effect so how is that a glitch... it's also extremely hard to do... rageblade double strikes with all on hit effects or attacks .. it does the same with caits headshot

Spellblade can only be proc'd once every 1.5 seconds, Echo and Shiv Lightning can only be applied once, then they need to be charged again, Deathfire Touch, and the active effects of Kassadin's W are all applied as spell effects and non-physical on-hit effects with non-damaging components. Kassidin's W has a passive effect which applies bonus magic damage as an on-hit effect, that is applied by the phantom hit, but nothing else is. Statik Shiv's stacks are accumulated by the phantom hit as well.

Go toward the bottom of the page and expand the ON HIT EFFECTS tab and you will see all of the on-hit effects that work with the phantom hit.
