Why is ezreal sooo popular?

It has to do with the kleptomancy rune and tree making his early game decent thanks to the free consumables and getting to 2 ítems powerspike super fast even going even in lane. Add in that most games are short on preseason and ADC's that outscale him don't get a chance to get to 6 ítems. (His winrate is good early game then it goes down)

It has to do with Meddler being a worthless sack of pigshit, refusing to act on ridiculously strong picks.

His boyfriend is probably an Ezreal OTP, hence the gross overbuff causing Ezreal Jungle cancer, then saying he wants to buff Ezreal Jungle, and then refusing to fix up Klepto Ez for a few patches because he doesnt want to overnerf. Like that's ever stopped him.

Let's not forget they buffed his Q scaling from 110% to 120%... He wasn't being picked as an ADC because of the meta so they gave him an totally unnecessary buff, and now along with his synergy with new runes, he has gained a lot more than most champions. It's not only Kleptomancy. He can use several other keystones and the runes in general give him a lot of tools.

Everytime they add a new proc based thing, Ezreal finds a way to abuse it. I mean we should of known this would happen with the new Rune system lol.

He's strong, and has been weak for some time. Add that on top of he's a fun, alot of people like him, then you get this.

Happens to lucian whenever he's strong too.

People like lucian and ezreal, but they dont them while they're at a 44% winrate lol

Because Riot buffed Ezreal in preseason (both with bugs and with synergy with certain items and runes) then Ezreal Mains showed that he was strong again.

Now all the FOTM sheeple are playing him because they think it will win their games for them so that they don't have to put any effort into improving their own skill at the game.
