I just wanted to ask why is there a three minute delay when spectating a custom game? My friends and I have really gotten in to 5v5 custom games against each other and it is really annoying to be behind three minutes when we watch each other. Is there any plans to get rid of the 3 minute delay or any other options?
I understand cheating but why keep it for custom games where you can invite people to spectate?
To prevent stream sniping.
to stop cheaters to be blunt, other wise anyone could have their friend spectate and say "yo enemy jungler is right here, run away dude"
All modes have the 3-minute delay as it's part of the same system. I don't think they could make it different for customs without changing it for the other modes.
Knowing the league community. That shit would be abused soooooooo much. Glad there's a 3 minute delay.
