You remove dfg and as "compensation" she loses her 20% damage amp on charm which means 44% of her burst was lost, how exactly do you expect her do kill anything?

If they're gonna remove the charm dmg aplification, then revert the nerfs done on that patch (Foxfire/ult damage). With DFG gone, those nerfs are meaningless

except she got less damage now

But Then there's this... Chum the Waters (R) : The fish now also amplifies Fizz's damage (except for Chum the Water's "shark" damage) on the target by 20% for 6 seconds

So what was the point of removing the Debuff from Ahri when They just gave one to Fizz?

Insane Pyromanic1/21/2015, 6:15:12 PM13 votes

cause they gonna make her how she was when she came out. Which was not a burst mage.

I wasted my actual real life money on pop star ahri. Thanks riot! You get rid of 40% of her damage output and think 20% ap on one move and bonus movement speed for like 2 seconds is compensation 0.0 I don't care if shes a mage or assassin but i do care if she does damage and now she does none. Also the damage on the wisps was pointless unless you up the 30% taken from each consecutive one.

And then gave her damage amp to Fizz.

Ahri is gonna be so fkin pathetic come 5.2 it'll legitimately be hilarious And sad But mostly hilarious, because seriously, those are professionals going ''Yup, this is gonna work out juuuuuuuuust fine''

This is coming from someone who used to enjoy playing Ahri

I hope the changes won't hit live servers... I like Ahri and I liked her when she was a mage, but the assassin-Ahri is really fun, idk why Riot supports having AD and AP Trist but not Mage and Assassin Ahri when they aren't incompatible.

Removing the charm damage amp means it's almost useless now, it's way too costly (mana-wise) unless you can definitely land it. Honestly it does nothing but take skill out of her kit and turn her into a more faceroll champ. Not to mention the massive nerf to her lategame. Losing 44% damage for a MS boost and a inconsequential Charm boost is somehow compensation.

To be honest, I don't see how any of this is actually "improving" Ahri. She was already fairly balanced, though a buff for the DFG removal would be necessary, and it's pretty obvious that this is an unnecessary nerf rather than a buff.

as i said in another thread... "mobile and kiting mage" with the weakness "low threat" is REALLY bad design for a midlane mage... Ahri is not Janna.

Im going to be a sad panda if they do that to Ahri. :(

What's funny is I feel rather confident once PBE Ahri hits live, these boards are going to light up with nerf threads. Most Ahri's I saw didn't build DFG, so they are going to be trading 5-10% overall damage for incredible safety and kite ability. Mid laners are going to lose their minds over her.

Edit: And yes, I think removing the damage amp off charm was a bad idea. You turned a skillshot mage into a generic poke mage. I wouldn't like that on any champion.

Sick of seeing everybody and their mothers facerolling with Ahri, sorry that you don't think she desperately needs these nerfs.

People hate assassins, whines when Riot changes an assassin to a seige mage
