Make Taric's Ult a Channel ability

Hello everyone, hope you all have a nice day/night. So we all already noticed that Taric is "pick or ban" champion after his rework and one of the reason for it is his ultimate. Or the way how it works. Let me explain: the only counter that this ult has is a 2.5 seconds delay. It is a reasonable counter, but ONLY IN EARLY GAME. In early during 2v2 fights you can play around his ult, simply backing of or bursting down adc in those 2.5 seconds of delay. But in teamfights though this delay is turning into an advantage.

Taric is a support that is tanky, has hard CC, has shield and heal for his allies. Just these elements make him a pretty good protective support. In a team fight he can easily protect his adc with this kit without using ultimate - even if fed zed/talon jumps on his adc and does burst that would've killed him in less than 2.5 seconds, taric has all the meanings to negate near a half of all that dmg via his Q,W, active, even considering that he will miss his E (both of Es).

And now he also has his ult. Essentially, if enemy teams initiated with some crazy wombo, if they didn't kill anyone in those 2.5 seconds - the teamfight is lost. And if taric wasn't hard CCed himself during this combo there is no way you gonna kill anybody.

So, any teamfight will go like this - enemy team initiates on Taric's team, they won't kill anyone regardless of how hard they try because of how much protection Taric's provides, and then his ult comes down and enemy team essentially has lost. If Taric's team initiates, similar scenario will occur, only now there really no way for enemy team to do anything.

Here's the main point So, my suggestion is, to make Taric's ult a channeling ability. This will at least give him a decision to make - charge up his ultimate for his team after 2.5 s has past, or use his spells to protect someone right now. And, if his channel goes interrupted - no effect will occur. Right now he can just do both simply by smashing his head on the keyboard.
