Kalista's binding needs a confirmation button.

EDIT: THIS IS A POST DISCUSSING KALISTA and ARAMs mostly. Anyone who sits there and says "well you don't HAVE to actually use it to engage, you get to control where you go, and she's so good so I don't get why you wouldn't want her on your team"

**Is literally missing my entire point. **

Kalista's Ult requires teamwork. Actual teamwork and someone who is happy to work with them to properly use it.

There needs to be an option where someone says "yes or not" to being bound to her. If they say no, there needs to be either a cooldown until she can try again, or no option to bind to that person.

I'm tired of loading into games with people playing Kalista (ARAMS or Rift) and being binded (even if I'm not support on the rift) just for the troll factor of it. Resulting in them refusing to rebind someone else and expecting me to always want to engage when they use it, but never use it to say, save me when they can.

ARAMS are the worst about it because if you don't want to be binded at all. You now have no option and if you don't agree to engage with it, you get flamed for not "willingly throwing yourself into the enemy team".

Kalistas ult is fun, for people who actually can work well together. She is created for duo play, shouldn't the duo partner in question get a say in it?

EDIT: THE ISSUE HERE is that it's not cool for Kalista to bind to people in ARAMS who don't want to be. Just for the express purpose of trolling. If you choose to play Kalista on the rift and someone refuses to bind to you. Thats their choice. You choose to play an adc that doesn't do well without an actual duo partner.

I agree, I've been bound by many Kalista that did it just to troll and it led to me getting killed. One game we got invaded at start and she used the bind to get me killed, then all game she would use the ult whenever she could fuck me up. It's almost as bad as Tahm Kench's W and Bard's ultimate.

I dont really care about aram (come on its just aram..), but what if a troll support refuses to get binded (i remember argueing in this very board with a dude convinced that GP support was good, but he wanted a change to kalista because he couldnt farm his Q while binded...). You get again a similar scenario where Kalista loses 2 of her spells (W passive, and ultimate). How is that better ?

I feel for you tho, Flame is Lame. But, if you think the Fate Call engage isnt going to result in something good, then dont engage with it. let the dude waste his ult, if he doesnt use it well. and report him after the game. mute him if you need.

Uh, doesn't the person who gets binded get to choose where to go? Why can't you just go throw yourself the opposite direction of the enemy team if you don't want to engage?

I had a Kalista bing to me when I was Kassadin (in an aram) everytime I rift walked in to get a kill, she would ulti me, I wouldn't be expecting it, it would completely screw up my momentum and train of thought I would end up dying in the process of trying to cancel it.

When I said "Can you stop ulting me ffs" She started having a go at me, I was all like, wtf you are trolling me with it just stop.

then her duo queue started abusing me too :(

As soon as she stopped I started racking up the kills

I once had a kalista who waited until we were invading to bind with someone, when the top laner (who was leading the charge) got focused by the enemy team she soul bound him there, effectivly ccing him for the enemy team.

Remember kids, always ask for consent.

(but seriously, +1. Unlike a Bard ult or a Anivia wall, this thing lasts all game. A support is your partner, not your bitch. Always ask permission before binding your oathsworn!)

Yes pls, I can't tell you how many times I've misclicked and binded the jungler by mistake and lost 30% of my laning phase damage
