Why should I lose lp if someone on my team dc

So as a low elo player who actually wants to get gold for his first season its VERY annoying and VERY frustrating when someone in my team goes dc in a game after the remake mark. And its happened SO MANY TIMES where someone on my team goes dc and next thing I know my teams screwed and its just so dumb that I have to lose lp for that I honestly think that if someone goes dc in a ranked game you should lose no lp at all or lose 25-50 percent of the total lp u would have lost had the game have been 5 v 5 and the other team gets full lp. I am sorry if you are annoyed of low elo players ranting butI really would like to hear my fellow summoners thoughts.

Because not doing so would be the most hideously abusable thing in the entire game. Premade 5 man starts to lose a game, one guy intent DCs and saves everyone LP. They do this until they can climb for a very long time.

Or worse A group of 4 and one random starts losing. The 4 bully the random into dcing to save themselves.

Thats the most bs thing I ever heard. You can't "bully someone into leaving". If they don't want to they won't, its not like someone can come to your house and beat the shit out of you because you didn't leave a game.

It's entirely possible, thinking it isn't possible is ridiculous. I've had 4 mans make it so the enemy team always knows where i am, leave me to die, take my CS, XP, flame, etc. After a while it drives you to the brink of AFKing.

If they are that hellbent on losing just give them what they want, buy sunfire and sit at wolves. You won't get an afk penalty because sunfire always puts you in combat. If you are squishy and die to wolves or the enemy kills you just get an autoclicker.

Did you entirely forget what we were initially talking about? Well it's understandable. the process goes something like this

Prerequisite: Riot made it so having an AFK on your team grants you 30% less LP loss. (E.G. having an AFK past remake time means you only lost 7 LP instead of 10)

4 man premade gets into a game
4 man premade starts to lose
4 man premade bullies the solo player for 20+ minutes
Solo player leaves the game.
4 man premade receives less LP loss and can climb even with a negative win rate.

This whole thing is inaccurate, and could be solved with only using this in solo or duo ques so this thing didn't happen or even better yet game reviews for afk players, there problem solved no abuse.

did you lose game? then you lose LP if you win the game you get LP its the same for all

Well, I have had players not connect, reconnect, disconnect, and reconnect, and be so far behind that it's a loss... when it would've just been better off for all if the player just didn't reconnect so we could remake. If there was a way to allow a remake during THIS kind of situation, I'd rather have that. Disconnects after the fact would be abused to no end.
