Gunblade buff please?
So I like playing a lot of caster champs, and I love how much damage they deal, but their sustain and survivability is based on their ability to kill people before they get killed. Which is why I like Quinn, because she's also a marksman who can sustain through auto attacks. However, for tankier champs that I like to play mostly in the top lane, they just go until they drop, and don't deal a whole lot of damage unless you build them full AD. This is mostly true for champions like Pantheon, Garen, and sometimes Renekton, if you're going full tank. So I've been toying around with the idea of just slapping on a Gunblade for that Spell Vamp; this way, you life steal off of your abilities. Now, I know what you're thinking (probably). "Uhh... None of those chaps are AP?" And you're right! But I have an absolute love for Garen and ult of *rich, creamy JUSTICE! *, and I wanted a way to keep him in the fight longer, rather than having to back out and wait on his passive. Thinking about it, the Hexteck Gunblade gives Garen a small damage slow (which gets buffed a little by the AP it gives you), life steal for your auto attacks and Decisive Strike, and spell vamp for your Judgement, his main source of damage. I think it rounds out his kit fairly well, since his Decisive Strike isn't the best gap closer (especially for match ups like Malphite), and Perseverance isn't that good until level 16 (not to say that it's bad, I love having free regen). Anyway, to get to the point of all this rambling and fanboyism, I just wanted to know if somewhere down the line we could get rid of the whole Gunblade stopping your champ mid stride when you go to slow someone. It is both silly, and emasculating, to watch Garen run at someone, stop and fire a small projectile, and then continue running only to not get the kill. Or maybe I just need to get better at executing the kill combo.
