Riot: Why in the name of actual supporting....

Are all the support-starting items almost entirely focused around doing more damage stat wise? Why does the "physical defense option!" as you say in your own patch notes, HAVE AD ON IT?! Is it an oversight? I sure flippin hope so! Because this is a terrible idea for bot lane.

Tank supports bar Leona and Thresh in the past season were irrelevant as hell, and now you're going to make them even more so by giving every "support" and their dog even more offensive stats, while giving no armor/mr/health regen/healing for tank supports like Braum??

Why? I need to know why!
