Not really, as a support you want to bring utility, not pure tank. I go talisman and sightstone but the relic eye item is fine too, just personal pref.
I grab swifty boots, locket and 20% cdr from other sources. Often frozen heart. I pick up deadmans plate for the movespeed unless they are heavy AP where I grab Spirit visage + zekes instead of heart and deadmans. Vs cc that will kill my carries I pick up Mikaels instead of either locket or deadmans.
Builds can vary a lot by game though.
