Why do people report you if you go AFK in a 4v5?

This is something I've never understood. My support makes a dumb play, suicides under their turret at lvl 3 and then says its my fault and then says "bye" and quits. This is in a normal game, and I don't want to play out a 4v5 for the next half an hour. Why do people insist on playing these games out? Just sit in base, let them push mid and MOVE ON.

I don't understand why people get mad at you if you don't want to play out a 4v5 where one of the players has ragequit. I personally don't feel like wasting another 30 minutes when I can just move on to the next game. I don't see how anyone should be expected to want to play a game like that out.

You don't respond to bad behavior with more bad behaviors. You can choose to surrender at twenty if the game is going that poorly. But you should try to win, because even with a missing player that doesn't automatically equate a loss.

I usually try to convince the other 3 teammates to go AFK with me then I report all 4 of them.

4v5 typically makes the 4 team a lot stronger for mid-game. If you've got the coordination, end the game early. Stop wasting time crying.

I've won 4v5 games. And yes it is frustrating but you can only go afk if the whole team agrees. If you do it you are just another troll.

The entire point of the game is to win. You're not at as much of a disadvantage in a 4v5 as you would think. A 4v5 means more gold/exp for the 4 remaining players, and usually if a 4v5 is played carefully then the 4 player team will be 1-3 levels higher and can make plays off that. Also, the 5 player team will usually have a more relaxed and careless mentality, which can cost them the game. If you stay relaxed, positive, and raise your teams morale, winning a 4v5 is not too difficult. You might have a statistically lower chance of winning, but you could probably win 2-5/10 4v5 games if you and your team stay focused, positive, and work together. The quitter attitude who doesn't want to "waste time" and wants to just AFK instead of trying for a possible win is even worse than a feeder or AFK player, that attitude brings down the entire team and is probably the #1 cause of lost games.

Because leaving a game is reportable.

20 minutes too long for the situation. Report riot for griefing.

hmm let's see because it's still possible to win? Are you really that ignorant? It is not a lost cause when it's 4v5 but 3v5? yea pretty fucked there. You're just a cunt.

You can easily win a 4v5 game before the 30 min mark specially since he left at lvl 3.

After the 30 min mark it becomes harder and harder as they can simply splitpush and minimize any advanatage

I've won a 4v5 in ranked before. Was pretty easy too. It just takes a lot more effort because you NEED to end the game early because if you don't, you WILL lose in the lategame if they actually come at you in a group of 5. In a 4v5, if everything is equal(in terms of gold gained and experience earned) the 4 will have more gold and experience distributed to them with one less member. This will allow them to hit power spikes earlier and allow for one of their few windows to snowball the game for them. It is POSSIBLE to win, it is just harder. For me, when I get stuck in a 4v5, I work on practicing things I wouldn't consider doing if it was an actual 5v5 match because I'm very certain it will/would cost me the game. Since I'm already stuck in a loss for the game, I try things out and experiment to see what I can do with that champion.

4v5s can be won, if just barely. The other day I had an ARAM game that the other team almost won with 4 people. I've won one or two of them myself.
