Can we have a simple AP+Armor item -not- zonyas?

I hate how assassins/AD can stack 2-3 AD-MR or spellblocker items but AP users only have one AD item - zhonya's. There isn't a spell blocker for AD attacks for AP users, and its not needed anyway, but we do need more AP-Armor. Something very simple and like a chainmail+needlessly build that gives 45 armor and 65 AP. Getting blown up by assassins under tower while trying to farm for the final 1000 gold to build a zhonya's is just, ughh.. I guess one couyld argue "Hurr durr just pick the rune with free stopwatch", but then your damage potential goes out the window for a measily 600 gold. C'mon, give us AP something to work with vs assassins. They rush MAW and EoN and there's nothing you can do to them, or do for yourself when they jump you.

Tbh, every offense+defense damage item needs to be removed or pushed toward a pure defense/utility item.

Part of the reason we have this meta is because Riot needlessly shoves damage up everyones ass at every opportunity.

You rush Seeker's Armguard before anything else, then move on to your main item. That item is insanely stat efficient, and once fully stacked, completely cancels out their first two lethality items for 1100 gold.

Your damage potential doesn't go out the window if you take the Stopwatch rune + Biscuits. You lose out on a few minor offensive benefits for a safer early game. What DOES throw your damage out the window is feeding an assassin. Mages outscale assassins. Your job isn't to beat them in lane, it's to survive them. If you don't die to them and just farm, you'll end up stronger than them.
