I need some help laning as Fiora. As Fiora I lose lane almost 99% of the time. Although I can do better later in the game I always get recked in lane. I would appreciate some Fiora tips and just general top lane tips. -thankyou

Fiora has low base stats and no shields - she's naturally squishy unlike a lot of other top laners. This means she is at a natural disadvantage in the laning phase, and only your skill can compensate/give you the advantage. Using your Q to hit vitals is well...vital. Anyone decent knows this is coming - especially when the vital is right in front on them. They'll be prepared to retaliate, and having someone like Renekton ready to pounce on you is extremely dangerous. This is when your W comes in - and whether you get the timing on this 0.75 second skill right or wrong will make or break you. You'll have to know what your opponent's capable of skill-wise and predict his next move and be able to time your W with it. The only way to really get good at this is practice.
I'd recommend going Grasp Of The Undying instead of Thunderlord's. It is extremely helpful in the lonely island of top lane and works wonders along with her passive sustain.
Let's say you're losing lane, down a kill, getting constantly camped because your name is Fiora, etc. The best thing you can do at that point is chill under tower and just farm. Fiora is really good at getting those last hits under tower with her Q and E. You'll still be behind but once you get 
you'll catch up. Also look for opportunities to teamfight and gank other lanes with 
. Always remember Fiora really starts to ramp up in mid game and becomes a true monster late game - if any game ever gets that far.

Everybody but Fiora mains hate her. Any hero that can build largely tank and still shred with %max true damage is a bullshit hero. Fiora loses her lane, wins the game typically.

Xicashina1 votesLook for efficient trades (IE only go in for trades if you know you'll win them) (This will generally happen with an easy to proc vital followed by using ms to walk away or procing a vital then using the e empowered autos twice to damage or move yourself to the next vital. It can be very difficult to get a kill in lane as Fiora due to her lack of hard cc and not exceptional burst (She can only insta-burst someone for like 200-300 hp max before getting some items) However if you outrade the opponent and freeze you can effectively zone them before you finish tiamat.

Positioning? We realized in the first week of her rework that that wasn't a problem.
Squishy? Nope, she can build like a juggernaut and still keep all of her damage.
Damage? Nahhhhhhhhhh. She doesn't even have to BUILD it.
CC? That's why her W exists.

VęX2 votesYou have to just keep playing. If youre new to a champ you wont be able to perform against her counters welll. Youll get to a point where you can play her against a renekton.

renekton:dash around him and watch for that w, riposte it
nasus:just be constantly aggressive against that bitch, and riposte his q's
shen: play super passively, and ONLY trade with q's on his vitals, whittle him down!
Wukong: riposte works on his ult, and vitals don't spawn on the clone if he's already marked, but you do need to buy some form of tank stats vs him after he buys a cleaver
Malphite: buy 
and start smacking those vitals, his e reduces attack speed, but q is counted as an auto, and e resets the attack timer(literally it's shyvanna q)
Tryndamere's got massive issues with consistent poke, q him and run away, take ignite and kill him when he ults by putting it on him.
