For a game that is completely team based and revolves around good communication.. how can we not have a built in voice comm. I have lot so many games because I can't my team to group. Now voice communication wont completely fix this. But it sure would help.

I do not trust Matchmaking to give me a proper team every time I queue. What makes you think I would trust it to give me four players (or nine, if there's an "all voice chat" option) who will, under no circumstances, do their best imitation of the toxic mic spammers of CoD, CSS and Halo?

My advice? Pick up Skype, or Curse, or some other voice chat program, and use that.

I'm sure you expect everybody to say "just get Curse Voice". Well, just get Curse Voice. Since 6 days ago it is officially not against the Terms of Service or End User License Agreement for 3rd party mods.

Curse Voice is a simple and really quick way to get into voice chat with your team, and since it's so good, a ton of people already have it. It's still technically in beta, but it's open beta now and you don't need a key.

He makes a valid point though people complain about the community being toxic and such but there really are no counter measures in place to prevent toxic behavior in chat you lose alot of anonymity when that gives people the confidence to be toxic when there actually using there voice and put on the spot by possibly older more mature teammates .

I always though it should go the complete opposite direction and all chat / voice communication should be banned. Maybe add an extra ping, like an all purpose marker and raise the ping spam filter so nobody can do more than 2 within 5 seconds.

I'm not for the idea of Riot adding an in-game comm, almost entirely because 3rd-party comms exist. They even recently approved two of them. Replacing communication with pings won't do much, other than give trolls a reason to spam every ping they can. Or, better yet, make random, targeted pings to "warn" their teammates of false danger.
