Remake Counts as Loss in Series?

Apparently if you get a DC at the 2 minute mark and want to remake, that will count as a loss for series. I fail to see how this is fair to a player in a series.... If they are starting a match off down a player that sucks to go through normally, but to top it off you CAN'T remake in series because then you get an ez loss for something that should be determining if you as an individual player should move up... item 3151

Pretty salty about this RN, hit 99 LP and then won then ext to get into previously failed series, lose the first game and then get a DC in second, and back to 81 LP.... How is that fair?

You should only be counted for a loss in series if you were the player who dced.

The reason is because some players will duo with an intended "safety net player" who will "d/c" to allow for a remake, thus bailing said player who is in a series out of bad game/match-up without penalty to them. This could also work for non duo players who just convinced another teammate to do so.

While unfortunate, I do see their reasoning for it. Players would just do this until they either got a super easy game to win, or they ran out of players to "D/C" for them. It would not really show they deserve the next rank since they could not play into any potential enemy team comp, and had to "remake all of the less favorable ones".

I believe they are still working on a better solution, but for now this likely is still their best option.
