Suggestion: Make quick cast with indicator an option for each ability

I have always played league with quick cast with indicator on all of my abilities, but the only reason I have done this is because there is no option to have it only for select abilities.

The main difference between the two options is:

  1. Quick cast with indicator casts on button release
  2. Quick cast without indicator casts on button press

As you can imagine, this creates a good deal of delay, especially on abilities like smitesummoner 11 where timing is essential. However, if I am playing a champion like AmumuAmumu , I like to have indicators for my Q and R. I think a great change would be to make the indicator an individual setting rather than a global setting

Couldn't agree more. For now though, a good substitute is to play without quick cast on those abilities. You may have to left click, but it's better than quick casting.

or u can also bind indicator to another key. I use maj+spell to see the range of the spell. that's not optimal though, it takes much more time, but it if efficient.

You can do this already in the key bind options, I switch each of my spells between regular quick cast and quick cast with indicator each game depending on who I am playing.
