Why do idiots build Swifties into Nasus? Which is more important? His W or Q?

People overestimate the value of 10% less damage. Sure, it's 10% less for free, but if you would have taken 1k damage you're still taking 900 damage. Might as well try and not take the damage in the first place.

You forget: Nasus's W is a giant middle finger to moving.

Are you melee? Unless you have a dash/blink/some other gap closer that isn't running and CC, you can't engage. Are you ranged? Well, you're a balloon, so you need to be able to stay the fuck away from him (or you get two-shot - three-shot with Tabis).

If you can't outrange him (Meaning: You aren't a Xerath, Cait with RFC, or Lux), or you can't ignore the W (Such as Olaf, Yi, or someone like Leona or Ornn), the most vital thing is not letting him right-click you to death.

Imagine a Darius you can't escape. No amount of armor is going to save you from him, so work on being able to escape him.

i prefer swifts. because if his w hits me, im dead. with swifts i got a chance. that 10% less dmg vs a 500+ trinity stacks wont do much

Reducing the severity on most ADCs means I can out kite him with my built in peel. That means he never touches me.

Honestly, depending on who you’re playing as against Nasus, Swift boots are definitely more useful. If you’re a melee duelist who’s expecting to have to engage in a slugfest all the time with him, then of course, but if you’re strategy is to kite him and keep him at arms length with constant harassment, like I do with Quinn, then heck yeah I’m going Swifties over Tabi. Infinitely more useful considering my kit.

Swift or mercs are probably best vs Nasus unless you are planning on tanking him (which is usually not a good idea unless you are a tank). If he can't reach you he wont deal damage or heal making him a pretty easy target.

Is his Q even an auto attack?
