Keiaga - Summoner Stats - League of Legends

Climbed from unranked to Gold1 in about a month. 64% winrate with mordekaiser over the course of 70 games. Statistically I'll reach my goal of platinum before I hit 85. Figure I might as well share some tips from one person who isn't too good at the game, to another.

To start it off, I highly recommend Mordekaiser as an easy champ to play that's good in all situations and team comps. His early game is decent, his lategame is strong, he's a bruiser by default, and can effectively build more damage or more tank.
787018 Summoners and runes summoner 6 summoner 14 Are my go-to. Mordekaiser's early game is pretty strong. He highly prefers long fights over short engages, so ghost works a lot better than summoner 4. For runes Conquerer is by far the best choice. Followed by Triumph, last stand, and last stand. Go domination for the secondary runes for taste of blood and ravenous hunter.

With this setup, coupled with your recommended items, your healing is insane.

Core items item 3116 Rush this every game. Even boots are optional and I don't build them every game.

item 3146 Get this always. The active is perfect for slowing someone to chase, or to pop a spellshield before pulling. The passive is also perfect for healing and keeping you alive in fights.

Other important items

item 3151 Not necessary, but the damage ramps up if there are multiple tanks on the enemy team along with being stat-efficient, or if you're ahead. I recommend against buying multiple AP items though. No matter how far ahead you are, you'll need the durability for mid/lategame fights. Remember - Morde prefers long, drawn out fights.

item 3065 Amazing with your rune set up and Hextech. Great MR item, and stat-efficient.

item 3222 Only get this if there's a necessity for a second MR item or if you're ahead. Even if there's not much magic damage, the extra healing with all the set up is crazy. The active is also pretty good for the cleanse.

The rest - After the 2 core items, decide which resistances you need to prioritize first.

item 3047 - unless they're completely feeding, any champ that relies on auto attacks will become an issue late enough into the game. If there isn't a need for Ninja Tabi's I frequently dont take any boots at all.

item 3075 - Mostly recommended if there's anyone with insane healing, or if the auto attacking champ is far ahead.

item 3742 - good in any game for the stats, and the extra movespeed helps make up for the lack of boots.

item 3193 - good as a 5th or 6th item if you have to worry about both damage types. After you ult someone, you'll find yourself in the middle of the enemy team often.

Mordekaiser playstyle

Early game - it's not the best, but definitely not weak. Last hit to level 3, and if you manage to land an EQaa combo in the middle of the lane, pop ghost/ignite and you'll win the exchange and get a kill or at least a flash, 100% of the time.

Once you get to 6, assuming you aren't behind, feel free to hardpush forever. It's very dangerous to gank mordekaiser with his ult up and it's likely you'll be able to get at least 1 kill, and two isn't impossible.

Mid/Late game - splitpush.

Mordekaiser is a powerful duelist and stronger against multiple people. When you get ganked by 2+ people, ult anyone, and by the time you're back, your Conquerer will be fully stacked and you should have the stolen stats from whoever you just killed.

Who to ult

1.) Whoever you need to in order to finish your ravenous hunter stacks 2.) The jungler whenever he gets close enough to contest dragon or baron 3.) Enemy hyper carry. Even if you can't win in a 1v1, ulting them to get them out of a team fight for 7 seconds will hopefully be enough for your team to win the fight without their most dangerous threat 4.) The tank when you're low on health. Getting rid of the enemy team's main form of CC can be a huge advantage for your team. Better yet, you should be able to heal back to full health off of just hitting the tank.
