Ranked still needs fixing

This ranked matchmaking still needs work, I played season 7 ranked when the season just got reset and placed silver 2 which from my old rank of gold 5 I thought it seems likely? After a few days everyone complained the matchmaking was broken and the rankings got reset again but this time I had 24 ranked unplaced matches for this season and I needed to play one more game to get placed. I played my one game and had a ap sion middle that literally used his ultimate to run it right down mid around the enemy nexus into their fountain. Sadly I got placed into silver 5 after losing this very close and promising game. What is this match making from gold 5 season 6 to silver 2 after reset into silver 5 after the fixed reset this is some sad times for ranked players I hope it gets reset again or they do not count the ranked game in the off season between season 6 to season 7. Thank you for reading my message I mostly wanted to vent this out but I may not be the only one getting problems like this so maybe my message will be lumped with a lot of other messaged about the match making. Very unsatisfied with this off season matchmaking.

Because of the MMR mismatch in Flex Queue, you got reset to the original starting point (pre placements). But remember this is only Preseason, the rank you accomplish now WILL BE RESET AGAIN! The rank you get in preseason does only influnece the placement in Season 7 to a SMALL extend! (only your starting point in season 7 is affected by Preseason ranks) Sidenote: 1-2 Tier drops are completely normal in preseason.

I.E.: You were Plat 5 at the end of the season, were placed high Silver after placements, now got placed low Silver. If you now climb to Plat again, you will then only be placed in low Gold at the start of Season 7!

So dont worry to much about the current placement!

The last "extra" placement game was just to trigger a visual update! You were already reset at that point! So this game didnt affect your rank! I know this sucks, .. alot!, but atleast now the games should be way better balanced and its just preseason and not the real season :/
