ya this needs immediate attention, i have no idea how the dev team went backwards on this issue with high resolution monitors. Porocles (RIOT) suggests to use a lower resolution as the fix...
+1 this if you are having the same issues to get RIOT to fix this long standing issue. it use to only happen when you alt+tab, however it is now permanent
