Buff Rumble?

I used to main Rumble back in season 6, but due to changes in the mastery trees and heat management. Rumble deserves a little love too. His early game has become too weak against the bruisers that rule the top lane and tanks like ornn or maokai don't have a problem against a champion that does damage over time. Additionally, as one of the best top laners seen in Worlds and in any professional league, he is now sitting at a 48% win rate. Personally, I think a change such as adding a slow to Rumble's Flamespitter or lower the CD of the equalizer will put him back in the meta. Increasing his utility would shift him to be sort of a control mage in teamfights. don't think there are any changes that can be done unless the meta is shifted. Let me know what you guys think!

I have been playing him with a tanky sustain build and it has been working fairly decent, especially against melee laners. I use grasp of the undying, second wind, ravenous hunter, and taste of blood. I get gunblade first item and full build usually looks like this item 3146 item 3020 item 3151 item 3065 item 3068 item 3135 . I think one of the biggest problems Rumble faces right now is not being able to stay in a fight long enough to do his damage without getting one shot. That's why I tried this out and haven't gone back since.

That's some serious crafting!! I like the idea, I'll give it a go. What have you found was the best matchup for this build?

I haven't played it enough to know all the matchups, but so far it has done really well against most melee opponents except Darius who just always counters him and pretty poorly against ranged matchups due to not being able to proc grasp. His normal build would be better suited for a ranged matchup.

He's a champion where the slightest change will make him break the game, so no. He's fine where he is.

In my opinion, when there are champions like akali top or champions with high sustain with the resolve tree. I think he needs a little more bang for his buck don't you think?

Akali's getting a full VGU, but I understand where you're coming from. Tanks are just too good, they do the most damage, take the most damage, heal the most damage, but have the most health and resistances. It's just Riot's balance team not addressing top lane issues, like the fact that there's still no bruiser keystone after 3 months since the runes were introduced, even when they promised we'd have one soon, soon being that they said it after a week of the release.
