Possible Issue with Kha'Zix vs Taliyah

So, I'm a Kha'Zix mid main, and occasionally I find myself fighting little miss Stoneweaver, Taliyah. She gets me low, so I try to E (Leap) away. Thing is, she puts down her E (Unraveled Earth) directly underneath me while I'm jumping. Since it's a movement ability, it procs the damage aspect of her E, and I die. I just wonder if this is intended or not.

Taliyah E > Khazix E; Accident or Outplay?

Of course it's intended.

You cannot dash over her E. (Well, you can, but you'll explode the mines)

The pads are dash sensitive. Khazix e is a dash. There is your answer

while kha himself looks like he's jumping, the reality is that the skill is coded as a dash, so yeah, taliyah's E activates on dashes, same happens with Trist and Corki's jumps

Everything on this list (including Kha'zix's Leap) counts as a dash ability. http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Dash

So, yes, leaping over her spikes will hurt you even though it's a jump. Same applies to Tristana's rocket jump. Try jumping over Zigg's minefield. Same rule applies.

Blink abilities (like Kassadin's ult) won't trigger the spikes because the champion doesn't actually move through the effected space but instead blinks over it. Kha'zix's jump is still a dash regardless of it's perceived verticality.

Yes it's intended. Why wouldn't it?
