A bid for voice communications in Ranked Solo Queue.

**For a game so deeply rooted in teamwork, League of Legends offers next to nothing in terms of efficient communication. **Every other competitive game, DOBA TWO included, has a voice chat system. This little detail is important, nay, vital, to people who enjoy conveying information in a timely manner, who enjoy fluid, efficient team play, who like to be able to keep their head in the game while they develop strategies and organize 'plays'. The current league chat system is obsolete and beyond broken, forcing you to communicate with colorful interpretive gestures. You may, additionally, vent your frustrations into the text chat, potentially inciting an argument that shatters the weal of your team and throws the entire game. The addition of voice chat would easily vanquish the issue of bad communication, it would preclude arguments and unnecessary "salt", and it would allow serious players to put their one-hundred-percent into the game.

No clue what that means, if I'm being honest!

I'm guessing you would allow for the player to not be forced to join. It's a good idea in theory although I'm guessing you'll have people reporting you if you don't join for fear they might be at a disadvantage against another team. Honestly - even in higher ranks I don't want to chat with the other people I'm playing with. Far too many children.

Curse.voice does this.

The program was actually 'illegal' for a while because it automatically put you into a voice chat if you had the program downloaded. Riot said that wasn't okay, and made it illegal until Curse changed the way the program worked.

As it is, the program is still available and psuedo-supported by Riot (as in, it exists and you can use it but it's not officially connected).

Riot doesn't need to make their own voice chat program.

League of legends is one of the most competitive multiplayer games out there and with the already beyond toxic community you're asking them to implement a voice system so we can hear them directly cursing us out? Look at games like CoD, CS GO, ect. Those games are all perfect examples of what happens when a competitive games get a voice chat and look how that turns out. I'm currently happy with the current state of the game and I can say from experience there's never a lack of communication as pings are more than enough to understand each other, and when pings aren't enough chat and quickly typed messages are also more than enough. If you want more communication get a pre made team together and use skype, curse, or teamspeak.

Great idea, I second this! Also if you do make sure you give mute options for the would be trolls and toxic. Thanks!
