Strategies for Next Level Mage play

For some reason, i cannot play competitively with anything except Mage-based champs. If i play someone who makes mistakes or doesn't know what they are doing or i get carried, i can use a Melee or a ranged AD champ, but i cannot play anything AD to save my life except hybrids that are also mages.

Example (At this exact time, will learn more Mages)

Vladamir is a good health/ap mage, vel'koz is a good backline mage and lane bully. If you want to work on hybrids, improve your Jax play. He's great with Guinsoo's Rageblade and Hextech right now.

Try picking up Ap assassins in the mid lane such as Fizz/LB/Kassadin. The AD champs I would suggest trying out would be Zed or Kha maybe rengar as they all have play styles similar to their AP counterparts.

try Zyra u get to play her both mid and supp and still do most dmg in almost every game
