I do not remember the last time I saw him in game. I bought him when I was like level 20 because I heard he "never lost lane" and I seemed to always lose lane. I wish Riot would rework him. Or at least acknowledge his existence.

Yesterday. He was support in team builder.
Yorick was slated for a rework, but then the fire nation attacked. It's been about 100 years or so since he vanished. (In videogame time anyways.)
I'm actually ok with never seeing yorick again.

if they removed him from the rotation for "anti fun" reasons and being a lane bully, they need to remove a lot of other champs too

Saw him last night, actually. He completely shut down the jax lane.
He's an absolute monster in lane. But he falls off pretty hard as the game goes on. This makes him a good choice if you're team comp favors an end-game rush. The meta really doesn't like rush comps though, so he doesn't get much action. He's slated for a rework, though riot recently admitted that other priorities have pushed him further down the list.

I play him in the jungle all the time. Solo dragon at level 3 right after buffs, poop on everybody. I think I got a Quadra last Jungle Yorick game :D Seriously, he's a much better jungler than laner, but that's my own little secret. LVL 3 DRAGONS AND SOLO BARONS ARE REAL.

A very long time ago(if I exclude my brother, who played Yorick 2 weeks ago), probably season 3.
i play yorick sometimes, i have seen him in ranked once, and on avg he is complete garbage so there is no reason to play him.
I saw him recently in a bot game, and then in a dominion within days of each other. He did surprisingly well in both. Both are very short games so I don't know how hard he falls off after mid game, but he seemed decent early game.
last week. he did fairly well.
He still desperately needs a rework though.
I see him regularly in ranked, but I'm only silver ii. I frequently will pick him if nasus is banned. Pickin Yorick into Nasus is like asking for nasus to have a farm lane. Also, if enemy top is picked, I pick Yorick (if it's not nasus). It's funny, how he counters everything... except the top that most people counter... Nasus. He doesn't counter nasus at all. You pick Yorick, enemy picks Nasus; just dodge, okay?
All he does is Q your wraiths. You go back for CDR and mana/manaregen to spam more at him? Well now he has CDR and just Q farms your wraiths and more minions... All the while, your harass is pushing, so you can't really stop him. The best thing you can do is freeze the lane.
But yeah, I play yorick.
And no, he doesn't suck after laning. Just build right. Get your Manamune, a visage to compliment your regeneration abilities, a Frozen to counter adcs, another AD defense item, like MoM or Merc Scim,more health armor (randuins) Now ADCs hate you, and some Mercury Treads.
Yorick is waiting in the corner for Riot to acknowledge his existence with anything, and he'll keep waiting until someone uses him in the LCS and he gets nerfed to un-death.
I played him like 3 games ago and carried hard l0l But yeah, he needs to be looked at. Maybe not as urgent as other, but he is really weird and old.
Yorick is a fun champ imo... but thats just cause I LOL everytime I spawn a ghoul watching the enemy Riven run away from your ghoul. I have played quite a number with Yorick, the only champ that really counters Yorick top lane is Trundle, you can easily bully Nasus out of lane and into the gutter. I still think hes a well-built champion. Just because he doesn't have any MLG super hardcore ultimate dodge moves doesn't mean he isn't a good champ.

Saw one yesterday in solo q he was on the enemy team and got Trashed by a nasus before that game I forgot yorick even existed
You don't want to see Yorick in game, He is by far the most annoying champion to play against. Even when you win your lane and the game, there's no enjoyment whatsoever because that garbage fucking champion sucked 100% of the possible fun out of that match.
He is a niche semi-viable champion , it's just 99% of the ppl who play him are building him so fucking wrong its not even funny. All the retards trying that mana tank build when in fact both him and his ghouls scales off from flat AD and HP. If they'd start building him accordingly instead of getting useless items like gauntlet and FH on him they'd realise how much better he is.
I saw one team mate almost pick him then he switched to Vayne...
