You have destroyed Blitzcrank. This retarded slow on his overdrive is the dumbest move ever. Now it cannot even be used to get away because even with boots and move speed bonuses, he is still below 400ms. Not to mention, you pop overdrive and 5 seconds later you are slowed down to 250ms. Hello all the enemies I was running from, nice to see you again. This is the dumbest ability in the entirety of LoL. It serves no purpose anymore. Sure you get some attack speed but blitz is more of a support champ and this is how he is always played.

In conclusion, thanks for killing Blitz.

adapt how you play him. don't use w when running away from enemies unless you can get to safety before the slow kicks in. the nice thing about blitz is he has a lot of other safety mechanisms that he doesn't need his w to survive.

Even with the 1.5 second slow, he still does gain distance by using W. Tested it several time on the PBE.

blitz is not broken he has been changed in a way that is healthy for the rest of the game. a champ that can pull an enemy into his team and out of position and then make a clean getaway is not a healthy game mechanic. but a champ that has to put himself in some sort of danger for using a speed boost to say grab a champion and get him out of position is more healthy and can lead to a funner more risky play style. also any good blitz player will have no issue with this "nerf" and will continue to grab champs and destroy a team's compositions just by doing what blitz was really meant to do.

I'm sorry, Can blitz still do an insane amount of damage with a pull, knock up, ultimate? Answer: Yes. He's still a champion that requires little to no skill to use (my opinion) because once you're pulled, there's no counter play in avoiding the rest of his insane amount of damage due to knock ups not being affected by Tenacity. He still has an insanely low and powerful silence ultimate.. the only thing they changed was that you're no longer faster than an UDYR with mobi boots.

I am not saying that he is op or that a balance was not necessary but my god, he is the only champion to have that negative of an impact on an ability. Sure you got Xerath who slows way down but it is compensated by range. Blitz now cannot even get away, into or out of position. His mobility is seriously gone and his base MS is shit. The decay is perfectly fine but what is with the 1.5 second speed penalty. Might as well stun himself too when he ults.

seems like a certain robot has fisted some of these players so hard that they are permanently scarred and salty for life.

i agree his w before the nerf was pretty ridiculous but i think the nerf was a bit too much. there were way too many positives that outweighed the negatives before the nerf. now there are too many negatives to using the ability.

imo i think they either need to get rid of the slow and keep the fast decaying speed boost or, remove the decaying burst and keep the slow penalty not both

Thank god no more Kenyan Blitzcrank that I cant possibly run away from. It was so toxic how he could powerhouse speed boost to you and knock you up. He doesn't even have to pull it was impossible to run away from that.
