Why is there no item that gives you attack damage and armor?

seriously though, there are items like that gives u AP and MR but nothing for those guys that need AD and armor, whats up with that riot?

Because it would be extremly benefitial in a bruiser-bruiser toplane. It would litterally be the dominating item, like Cinderhulk.

Diamond players. Ranked players. Copy the pros. The pros do it.

They bring smite, grab a camp. Teleport (most of the time) back to lane, don't miss out much and get a huge advantage. Which builds into Cinderhulk.

well for one i am bronze so....... item 3070 but seriously, besides me, I have only seen one other person use smite top, and i was the one to suggest it to him!! I am useing it all the time for top now, and it even works in mid some Yasuo =)

Because Atma's had to be removed because it was tainted with the memories of Season 2.

Also, Abyssal is being super reworked, from what I hear.

The main reason is everyone who wants either of the stats will abuse it or it will be so weak that no one buys it.

even though that isn't the only item right mean theres item 3174 too, and item 3060 .... all im saying is that there are those items that give both, which help out all the AP, MR people, namely Galio , so why cant there be at least one item that gives u a little bit of AD and armor, or at least attack speed or something? right?

MR isnt as powerful as AR.

I have literally never heard anyone shorten armor to AR, since it's only a three letter difference.

Yes, and some people abbreviate armor. It's just not common in this game. Not really worth correcting someone on, which was the point of my humorous response.

You can stack 500 armor. You can't even get 300 MR without buying like 3 identical items or having some defensive boosts like Garen.

you also generally have +30 base armor compared to MR.

That doesnt change anything.

MR itemization is a separate issue entirely. Armor is much stronger than MR right now simply because of the nature of physical vs. magic damage (as well as abilities vs. AAs + abilities).

item 3154 old school one though. it was like 12% ls/ 30 armor/ 30 ad or something like that... with a free ward. rip true jax top. they just kept fu***** with it... and ruined it as one of the best items in the game for cost efficiency since spirit of the elder lizard. wriggles...how i miss you.
