Ranked duos should not be allowed in lower elo. All they do is boost their mmr to a high skill level where they stand no chance of winning, in turn losing the game. I lost two games in a row to inexperienced duo premades. And was somehow dropped out of my promos to 61 LP. I dont think losing those games (which the duos single handidly lost them for us) should merit me losing that much LP. PLEASE FIX THIS
Just because you got a couple duos that didn't do well doesn't mean there's anything wrong with them being in the game. Solo players can throw just as easily, and duo MMR isn't increased that much that they can't possibly handle it (according to Riot, duo win rates are equal to solo across the board).
And how much LP you have when you leave promos depends on your MMR and how many matches you won before losing the series; you only won 1 match and lost 3, which means you lost 3 games worth of LP and only won 1 match worth of LP back. For simplicity's sake we'll say your wins are 20 LP and loses are -20 LP, so that's;
100 + 20 = 120 - 20 = 100 - 20 = 80 -20 = 60
Basically, your MMR is average. If had won another match before losing the series you'd be around 80 LP.
