How do you deal with a fed champion besides surrendering?

When you play against any fed champion its hard to not get frustrated and just give up but surely there is a way to play against this. This frustrates me even more because as someone who mains adc it is incredibly hard to not just get one-shot by pretty much anything.

try to play safe and focus on cs. aim for the long game the longer it goes the better because their level gap between you will eventually shorten try to survive and not to contribute to the feeding

It really depends on what is fed. If you main ADC then I suppose it doesn't matter, you still want to do the same thing. Position well, stay safe with your team, and try to outplay them. If your team can stall out for a while that enemy just stops being fed because you'll close the item / level gap. If it's only one enemy that's fed it's usually not worth surrendering, that just becomes a situation where the support knows exactly who they probably need to exhaust in a fight or who they really need to pay attention to.

if its only one person, try to build items that counter them

I tried that once. Went tank Jinx against their Zed who would always jump on me. Got carried to +20LP.

Did that Zed really not look at your items?

Positionning, warding, stalling the game out, focusing him down. Potentially ambush him at several people for the shut down (high risk high reward, he might be baiting). Play around the side of the map where you know he isn't, especially if he's the only fed guy in their team. He's top? Play around taking a bot tower/ a dragon. He's bot? Can you do rift herald/baron/take top tower? Is he splitpushing and diving on sight? Bait him into it with someone that seems alone and collapse on him.

That doesn't mean it's easy. He's fed, so he does have an advantage and will put high map pressure (if he's not stupid at least), but those are some patterns of play you can think of. Also, those are much harder to pull off in a soloQ environment where nobody listens to anyone, compared to a premade setup where you can organize better to deal with him.

You aren't funny, at all. You're making yourself look stupid rather than funny.

I don't understand what you are mad at. And yes I read his whole post. 0_0 0_0 0_0

Just because I'm stating my opinion that makes me mad? Or is because it's a negative comment that it makes you think I'm mad? How stupid your comment made you look was more funny than the actual comment, and I call it like I see it.

You make my head hurt with your comments long before you make me mad.

Sorry but I have no reply to your comment, as it makes no sense as a response to mine.

Your very first reply made no sense. It had nothing to do with the reason I made my post. :-O

Vinta1 votes

You made it to look stupid and for that to to make you look funny right?

Vinta1 votes

Because if not, then you simply lack basic reading skills, which is why I asked. Ethier you are just making yourself stupid to be funny or you're actually stupid.

Thought you weren't mad bro?

If it's a fed carry, Exhausting them during teamfights can reduce the enemy team's damage output, and allow your team to match it.

if the enemy team is basically all fed you surrender. if one or two fed its winnable. you open scoreboard. if enemy barely died. and they have 4+ kills each. you ff at that point tbh. time much better invested in winnable games./

Coming from a Gold to Plat level support main:

  • Keep tabs on all enemy champions and be KEENLY aware of who is getting fed - Once someone is fed - it becomes important to fear them more, and stay away from them.
  • If you must fight... make the fed opponent fight in unfavorable conditions - jungle where you have wards up, 2v1 scenarios, kiting potential - All of these are great ways to deal with a fed opponent.
  • Exhaust is critical in dealing with a fed opponent, especially in this damage-heavy meta. Nerfing exhaust would make it much, much easier to carry games. Hopefully Riot knows better, but that's another subject entirely.
  • Remember that as the game goes on - getting an early lead means less and less. Doubly so if they can't capitalize on their early kills (this is why realizing WHO is fed early is so important!) In other words, try to stall the game and lose as few objectives as possible in the process.
  • Step up your ward game - **Wards are critical for the team on the DEFENSIVE side of the game. **
  • Finally, contest/defend objectives SMARTLY. You can contest without getting caught if you play it right, most of the time. It does depend on champs and builds, but still - remember to make them commit more resources to objectives.
  • Refocus internally - especially if you are the reason they are fed. Try to reboot - refocus on farming and try to play passively and defensively. Do not get caught again.

Hope it helps brah.
