Jinx blows twitch out of the water when it comes to splash damage adcs.
Jinx-
has a strong laning phase
No dmg reduction on splash
Global presence
A reset/excitement factor
Hard CC
easy to manage mana
Twitch's identity is overpowered by all of these.
wouldn't it be better if change twitch to have an identity that could rival jinx?
Twitch has an identity of being one of the, if not the only, ADC that can assassinate. Ambush gives him really powerful roaming potential. It's why some people use him to jungle.
I agree he is weaker than other ADCs, but he does have an identity. What they would need to buff is his roaming and assassinating ability.
One more thing they should fix, a very, very situational buff.
Before his VA, Twitch's Expunge wasn't considered a projectile. They gave it a projectile animation to help with clarity, so people know where all that damage came from. However, the new animation meant that Expunge (Now Contaminate) can be blocked by Braum's shield and Yasuo's Wind Wall.
Not sure if it was intentional, but it was a debilitating, situational nerf.
It's commonly held that Twitch is currently in a less-than-great spot compared to most all Ranged AD Champions, not just Jinx. So, it's not really a great point...

No, because Twitch is an entirely different kind of champion from Jinx. It would not be good for Twitch to be able to do Twitch Things and to be as good as Jinx at Jinx Things as well.
Ulti: Suppressing Fire: same as now except no AD bonus, a 50% (negotiable) slow, and affected targets cannot use mobility spells or abilities for two seconds.
He's now way more interesting and if he's set up well he's harder to dogpile as everybody on the enemy team immediately dashes to him for the instagib.
