Question about Poppy's Passive

"All physical and magic damage dealt to Poppy that exceeds 10% of her current health is reduced by 50%."

Now, this is phrased awkwardly, can someone give me some math? Does this mean that:

A. Poppy has 1000 HP. 10% of 1000 is 100. Poppy is dealt 200 damage. Passive reduces damage down to 100.

or

B. Poppy has 1000 HP. 10% of 1000 is 100. Poppy is dealt 200 damage. Passive reduces damage down to 150.
