Trolls in rank game is a huge issue!!!

There should be rank bans for trolls. I'm coming across back to back games that players just be trolling right from the start of the game. It is decease game-play satisfaction.

Examples of Trolls:

  • Supports hitting cs and this puts the marksman behind because we're a scaling role; Supports just straight taking cs from the marksman and marksman can't even scale in the game.
  • Players literally intentionally feeding
  • Players are purposely not working together or giving up The list goes on. I understand NA is a "for fun region", but this will help make rank more competitive and enjoyable. I don't mind trolls in normals and blind because i have nothing to lose but the game. However, in rank, i'm giving long hours and free LP for something i have no control of it because one player can lose you the game but one player cannot win you the game.

Solution for trolls:

1st rank ban should be 3 days 2nd rank ban should be 2 weeks 3rd rank ban should be 2 weeks 4th permanently ban

People have families and jobs and trolls make rank play a complete waste of my day. I want to feel like my reports are actually doing something about the problem because it's happening way too often. I have been ban twice by riot and i do not whatsoever troll anymore in rank. I learned my lesson. this will help players to be reformed and not troll in rank games.

Be mindful that sometimes a support will hit your farm in order to prep it for tower, earlier in the game an adc`s auto attack might not be enough to finish off a minion after the tower hits them, especially when the enemy laners are shoving and you don't want to lose too much turret hp/cs that you might have missed anyway. Sometimes its best for the support to find time in order to damage the wave a bit before it even hits your turret.

And on the flipside, that support could be trying to shove the wave into the enemy turret in order to help put the ENEMY adc behind. (or they think that you might not be able to get that cs anyway)

There is also the issue of ignorance, in lower elo, a lot of players don't even see "Support" as an actual dedicated "help everyone else in this specific way" role.

There is no in game indication that your team definitively needs someone who is supposed to bend overbackwards for their teammates and not try to help carry. Every other role that pops up in matchmaking has a name that literally says where they go (top mid bot jg) support is the only one that looks alittle sketchy, some will think they need to be the strong laner to help their adc survive the laning phase and that its their job to carry and babysit them or something similar.

There's nothing left in league to do but to troll... the rest of the game has been completely gutted, and the community is more toxic than its every been.

Got into my promos to get out of Bronze, 1st game mid lane did absolutely nothing, didn't follow lane just scratched his balls the whole time. 2nd game, Thresh quit literally about 5 minutes into game never came back. 3rd game top lane inted. Like actually inted. Pinged them numerous times and they fed the hell out of jungle and top lane. It's games like this that make it impossible to get anywhere. Our Thresh had no reason to actually leave, he just said bye and left. I'm getting to the point where I am openly raging at people in chat and it doesn't feel good but it is so frustrating when people intentionally screw their teams. If you die trying well hey at least you tried.

i cant understand why they dont implement a rank ban on there accounts now... make them playing normals keeps the idiots out of ranked games spoiling it for the rest of us

Can't really punish someone from taking CS.

Can't punish someone for not grouping either that makes no sense.

A lot of the things you want to punish people for is lack of knowledge things. Furthermore theres no real system they could even implement to detect that type of stuff without punishing innocent people.

Taking a look at your own match history you would get punished for going 1/7 and 1/5 a week and a half ago.

In your elo(bronze) and even in silver people do not fully understand a lot of the concepts you want to essentially ban people for and you cannot honestly believe Riot or anyone else important will take this thread seriously.

You know relic shield exists right? I recently had an ADC I was supporting explode on me b/c they didn't know how relic shield worked. :P

Just delete the game I have been losing from gold 1 to3 just because of trolls . The lol ranking system is useless and unbalanced I was playing in like 15 games that bronze/ silver vs plat. So it’s impossible to win just delete the game and come join apex legend riot giving up on us and only know to make more profit from you why would you stay?

riot plz for all that is holy, improve the banning system. had 2 games in a row fall apart because of trolls. i don't have a lot of time to play so when i do its a huge deal to get people who are just trying to throw the game. trolls should be rare in ranked not common, not back to back but almost never

Riot would rather cater to hurt feelings than people that wastes EVERYONE'S TIME. No one wants to sit there for 40 minutes on a already losing condition.

Not to mention all the constant propaganda spread around by early adopters here's gold and platinum handed to you every season. Oh you lost 2/8 placements here's gold because you were gold a century ago.

Or the lie that if you are the constant variable that always does good then you will climb dog shit lie.

It's not even a coin flip anymore. Three times I've gone from silver 2 to silver 3. Every time I get to silver 2 I'm instantly bombarded with multiple feeders and trolls. What a fucking coincidence. You would think things would even out after the third time. NOPE. Check op.gg notice that the enemy team has NO feeders. Has no trolls. Has no afks. Ranked is a complete fallacy.

TO be honest i don't play all the time and I troll for fun nothing makes me happier then wasting a an hour of someones life. I made a post about how to do this without being banned but they deleted it. LETS FACE THE FACTS TROLLING IS ALOT MORE FUN THAN STR8 PLAYING. TROLLS UNITE!!!

I agree strongly! Been around since S1 or S2 and trolls never seemed to be an issue worth mentioning. I'm in Bronze II and every 3rd game, usually the support says "I'm inting", or "I will lose us this game". Then they proceed to ban my champ declaration.

As a result, I've stopped playing ranked.

Troll Tactics:

  • Stating they will intentionally feed, or simply do so without warning
  • Purposefully banning your champion declaration
  • Yuumi following jungle (in order to grief ally marksman and reduce jungler XP).

Solutions:

  1. Temp ban players who use keywords "I am inting" "I am going to feed" etc.
  2. Ban from ranked immediately after a number of reports.
  3. BAN IP address from ranked if feasible.

Side note1: Trolls don't seem to be as common in Normals. Maybe inting in Normals is not rebellious enough for these types.

Side note2: Players may be sour about being autofilled support. Could add to the reason why griefers are often in the support role.

Here's a couple questions: What do you consider qualifying as "Giving up?" Have you ever considered someone may not be working with you because You are making the wrong plays?

Both are very tough questions to answer in a finite way.

I'm generally in agreement about trolls. But, I also think there are a lot of actual trolling activities you aren't labeling, and a lot of nontroll behaviors you ARE mentioning. It makes the post egotistical.

Furthermore, have you ever considered that people just often play bad BECAUSE they have work/families? I explicitly play my smurf after 12 hour work shifts, which I pull 4-5 days a week, and in between I have a mother in law with a rare capillary cancer around her Brain, slowly infesting her skull, who has taken to visiting and having sexually dirty conversations in front of my 4 year old, and urging us to come drive her to her radiation therapy, run turn lanes/red lights to chase her husband's truck, when we live 2 hours away from her. (I know you didn't need all the info; but that's a pretty good example of how "life" gets in the way of League).

I've recently had some games where I DO start out 0/5. Sucks. I hate it. But I'm a diamond player when I'm allowed to Junkie.
