is Zyra really that deadass OP?

Hey guys i main Zyra as support . I also play her as top and mid sometimes. I just got mastery 7 last week I am thinking whar other people's feelings when they play Zyra or when they meet Zyra. Personally I think Zyra is super OP in her QW damage and her long range stun E. Her R is also a very good group control. Especially when she gets her flowers will make you barelly moving during group fight. And thunder lord is always on CD cuz I trigger it every time it's available with QW. And with just one Qw with thunder lord the enemy ADC may lose half their healths. And after every game my damage is always the highest like 50,000. Zyra is too OP for me!!!

She's one of the few supports that can hard carry, so she's going to be popular for that reason alone.

Her plants deal a high amount of damage, can be spawned at long range, are quite robust, and apply spell effects. If all her kit did was spawn plants, she'd still be a strong champion. She's what Heimer wishes he could be.

You realize she has been that way for years now but was considered shit tier for all of season 5 and just decent for most of season 6.

Her kit underwent some major changes in season 6, like removing her near useless on-death passive in favor of spawning bulbs everywhere constantly. The bot lane meta was different back before then as well, keeping her power cloaked in the wake of the horror supports that were season 3 Thresh, season 4 and 5 Annie, and season 6 Naut. Those guys were hard engage; that's something Zyra doesn't like and that kept her out of the meta.

And of course she's primarily a support, and supports generally fly under the radar even when strong because they're "just supports".

Her damage is simply over the acceptable level has been a while.

1 item supports shouldnt be outdamaging adcs or glass cannon solo laners, just saying.

Thing is she's technically a mid lane mage but Riot balances her as a mid and support. So yea it's fine for her to outdamage others.

I don't really think she's OP at all. Her damage is pretty crazy, but she's very easy to poke down or kill very quickly in an all in. She's just a pretty good champion, I don't think I would really change her. At the worst I find her annoying to deal with as some champions and easy as others.

If you are a Zyra main, you should know that her old QW did a lot more damage than it currently now. Also, Zyra's E is a root, not a stun. Urgg you sure you are Zyra main? Her E has a small hit box and very easy to dodge if you are somewhat an experience player to learn how to side step. She definitely not op or broken. Annoying is the word you looking for.
