If I had to hazard a guess, it would be that your Ranked MMR is far below that for your league. Losing a game will cause you to lose a huge amount of LP, because your MMR thinks you should be in Silver (considering that you're gold 5). If you keep winning games, however, your MMR will catch up to your league, and you should see normal gains again.

The opposite would be if your MMR was much higher than your league, which would cause you to lose next to no LP on losses, and potentially skip promos and move up multiple leagues at once.

On my other account I lost Lp for winning once, and it wasn't even the visual glitch, I actually did lose it.

I've had a similar issue where I would win a match in a series and it would give me a win and a loss for the series. It never lost me my series but it was still pretty annoying to see a loss on the series record when my last 5 games were wins.

it's a new feature, soloQ players must win 4 matches in a row to gain 27 lp, to truly allow that feeling of skill.

on a serious note several of your enemies are silver ranked so according to the new system you don't deserve LP, had you lost it would have hit you with a -35/40 lp loss due to losing to silvers with an entire team of mid ranged gold players.

in short, new queue system is broken and making extremely unfair matchups, just be lucky you haven't had a soloQ team vs a 4 or 5 man yet like i have its horrible.
