NEW HUD LOCKING UP PC

So I am really confused at this... I can run the rest of my games (WOW, DIABLO, Final Fantasy) at FULL Capacity graphics and very rarely have any issues. I now have to run LOL on the Lowest Graphics settings, and I am still having video lockups. I am not disconnecting, I can hear everything going on, but the game just locks up for no explainable reason.

I am running Windows 8, with 12 gig memory 2 gig dedicated graphics with an i-5 Core processor with no other background items running. Any suggestions ?

Are you sure it's gpu/cpu related? It could be an old modem/router. I was lazy about upgrading mine, and I was getting a 1-2 second freeze every time I threw a Death Sentence on Thresh (with 8 core CPU 4GHz, 32 GB RAM, and a 6GB 980ti)

I upgraded my modem, and am seamless now.
