AGREED: Champ Select Needs a Vote-Kick Option

I feel that Riot should introduce vote-kicking during champ-select.

Once the process is started, it extends the champ-select process by some amount of time to give all teammates in champ select time to vote. In addition, it should have a drop-down menu (like in post-game reporting) in regards to why players want to kick that individual (verbal abuse, negative attitude, trolling, role/lane stealing, failure to communicate, misuse of vote-kick function, etc.).

Teams need a 3-1 yay-to-nay vote to successfully kick a player, and the player who is the subject of the voting cannot cast a vote. The super-majority vote is to offset the possibility of trolls using this function in an effort to further troll the game.

If a player is kicked, that player suffers a penalty in proportion to why they were kicked and how often - a penalty similar to dodging a game. That way people (who are really doing their team a favor) who feel required to dodge because of trolls and instalockers aren't punished, and the true culprits are.

Most would argue that 4 queues could kick you if you take a role they want, or people would votekick you for picking an off-meta champion. But to be honest, you wouldn't want to play with those kinds of people anyway...

everytime someone picks a nonmeta champion you would get votekicked everytime 3 people want to play mid and 1st pick takes mid, they'd votekicked everytime a duo isn't happy with the team comp, votekicked everytime a duo doesn't like someone, votekicked

I don't agree with that at all.

So you're saying that when someone picks Garen or Poppy or Aatrox they would get kicked for that? That's absurd. Also, you need a supermajority vote. So 3 people call mid and the first person takes it, chances are that both of the other people who want mid aren't going to be butthurt trolls and infants. One might start the vote kick, chances are the other people in the champ select aren't going to allow someone to be kicked for that. Duos might not be happy with team comp, but again, that's only two votes. Who are they going to try to kick? And again, what if that person trashed teamcomp so hard they deserved it (refusal to communicate - a reportable offense as it is). The same logic follows if a duo simply doesn't like someone. Not to mention, just because players duo doesn't mean they are going to share the same sentiment towards a player or composition.

Duos typically have some sort of influence over the 3rd person. If the duo is unhappy, the 3rd will most likely not wanna play with an unhappy duo and vote to disband even if it means kicking someone.

And for nonmeta pick I don't mean picking Garen or Poppy or Aatrox. I mean, if you pick Xin Zhao mid, AP Pantheon, tanky Master Yi or support Akali even if you are a boss with those champs you might be kicked anyways. I used to main Xin Zhao mid for a while and I always get the cringe face of my teammates until I start going 20-2-1, then they stop complainng

This is true if the duo are strangers in real life who only play LoL together on the internet. But many duos are best friends in real life, or siblings. Even if you don't agree with your best friend, most people will not want to offend their best friend and risk losing a friend. You probably also don't want to start a conflict with your brother/sister over votekicking internet stranger so you will probably agree to votekick with them even if you don't personally agree

That is why riot should not implement a kick option. They should implement a disband option though with a set number of disbands you're allotted per day. Like say 3 tickets. You need at least 3 people in order to disband, (that way troll duos do not run amok in ranked) but if you use 3 of your tickets then you either have to rely on 3 of your teammates to use one of theirs OR you have to dodge and lose the LP. I myself wouldn't like to be kicked from games because I do not play the same 5 LCS meta champs every game. I also wouldn't like waiting 5 minutes to get a game together just to have my team disband because they think the enemy comp is better.

I think this would be a great idea but can see trolls using it against a perfecting innocent player...please tell me you have no tever had a troll try and say that you were a troll, because it has happened to me quite a bit.

Do you want to play with those trolls? each coin has two sides and neither are less nasty than the other. Also i hate the word troll because it has almost no meaning now-a-days.
