Rank Doesnt matter below Diamond.

I been playing a lot of draft recently and some rank. During my placement matches I got placed with a lot of golds yet sadly my placements did not go well due to -insert random player argues-. During draft, a lot of player I am encountering diamonds, plats and golds in large amounts. I notice that I have no trouble smashing a plat kid or plat kids yet when diamonds are in the game I get smashed. I attempted to go fizz top recently against a diamond 3 ekko and once the ekko got a lead on me because I messed up in a duel, I couldnt catch up, he extended his lead to the point of where I was screwed.

Honestly the skilled players are diamond and above and the thing I learn from playing with these players is why some champions are truly cancerous, like tank ekko.

Yet as a plat, i have no trouble destroying golds and silvers scrubs

I know ranks matter but idk I feel like between plat - silver shit so even sometimes. Maybe its just because the only plat players I have seen lately are trolling or boosted but damn do they suck. Not saying I am plat I know I suck just that in my last few games everyone's rank whether they plat 5 or silver 2 has not seemed to matter much. Generally you can tell a little but its not an overall difference in the match at hand. I guess it makes sense as being a higher rank playing should mean your more consistent but still won't win every game.

so idk. Like I agree in a way but I also know the OP post is bs. Like yes as a gold player I will beat a team of silvers more often than they will beat me. But I can easily get destroyed in some games as well. It makes sense I am just salty from some games last night haha. Used to look at trying to reach plat as a real hard thing and I still do but had some teammates last night that played so terrible made me question season 6 rankings. The thing I don't understand is a lot of plat players I play with were plat last season as well and just seem shit now. I understand people take breaks and that's probably most of what I am seeing but just seems weird to me. I got back to my season 5 rank of gold 5 really quickly this season but still play with people all the time who were like gold 1 or plat w/e last season and now have like 400 games played and are only gold 4. Just don't get how skill could change that much if rank actually still means something.

If you took time reading this comment I am sorry. I am just typing whatever comes into my mind at this point realizing it does not make sense.

So what you're saying is that there is no difference between a Bronze player and a Plat player. lol

I have read all your comments and I think they're pretty funny. you get all mad when someone says bronze-plat does not matter because are within those ranks. congrats you got to a tier that DOES NOT MATTER. very funny tbh

I crush people in low plat and below and high diamonds and above most of the time murder me. You're just saying that to brag about how you beat someone higher elo. I beat a master vlad main last week but you dont see me making a pointless thread about it.

I played a really interesting one last night.. the enemy team instead of the usual tactic of banning Yasuo / Illaoi / Zac , decided to ban supports, and so we lost Sona / Zyra / Nami .

Immediate consensus in pregame chat was that we were going to roflstomp them (seriously, who bans all supports?), and as soon as draft was done, there were laughs at their team composition. I mentioned that the last few games, I'd been getting matched against high silver, low gold players, this time, seems like mid bronze/low silver.

Pantheon jungle, Vayne / Malphite bot, Nasus mid, Swain top.

Malph was getting stomped up and down the map and died at least twice to my Blitzcrank rocket grabs (thanks to a kickass Graves ). I look at OP after the game.. and he's the single highest ranked persion in the match, sitting at Silver 3.

I think there's some truth here.
