@morello Why can challenging smite allow you to kill anyhing with an invulnerability or death immune

true damage is not meant to allow you to kill tryndamere during his ult or kill someone with a GA or a Zilean ult or aatrox passive on them without setting off the effect of their instant respawn. Challenging smite however, allows you to kill anyone you want at any time, regardless of invulnerability or death immunity. is this a bug or an intentional balance choice? if it is intentional, what was the reasoning behind it. was the viability of any of the champions or items in question taken into consideration when challenging smite was being developed?

No more Tryndamere escaping a kill after him engaging someone and losing. His "get out of jail" free card is done. Mwahahaha!

This was reported as a bug about an hour ago: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/bug-report/4U5AovjG-warwick-ult-challenging-smite-goes-through-tryndamere-ult

Looking at the description it isn't SUPPOSED to do that so you may have better luck over in the bug forum.

Smite: every 60 seconds. Trynd's ult: Every 90 seconds. So he will be killed everytime he uses his ult AND the jungler is around.

Def. a bug IMO
