For the love of god... use players' current ranking when placing a team. The system is jokingly abusive as is.

It seems like you are angry about ranked team 3's. Or just ranked teams in general. Either way they don't place a team on the individual players rankings because that doesn't directly indicate how good the TEAM is. They could all individually be diamond but have shitty teamwork(not likely but possible). I may be a silver solo queue but I could be on a gold or plat team because we work well together.

Point being: Solo queue ranking may be an indicator of team skill but it is by no means a guarantee.

There are groups that abuse the system and repeatedly make teams to stop, disband them, and repeat. When all three members are Diamond (usually already diamond together on another team) then they should not get matched against silver. Even worse when its not even placements, the system should already know how well they play together when they are 8-0 on that team, and diamond on another team. I don't care how bad your teamwork is, three diamonds shouldn't be matched in silver.
