State of Akali

I've posted on different places asking about Akali. I know other champions are getting some work done on them in the coming months and I want to know if Akali will be a part of that? I'm mostly asking this because my brother was an Akali main and well he stopped playing league after the nerfs to her. It's a dumb reason but I do miss playing with him and even though I have mentioned to him there are countless other champions, he just wants to play Akali in the way she once was.

A rework for Akali has been confirmed iirc, not too soon though

She's kinda one of the most toxic champions in the game right now

She isnt in a bad state. The state is actually insanely balanced.

If you do well early, or at least go 0/0 just farming, you will become the deadly assassin late.

But if you dont get farm early, or continuously die, then you will become useless.

Also if he likes akali, tell him to play irelia. She has a similar playstyle, and I started to enjoy her when akali got nerfed.
