So.. I haven't played Summoner's Rift in about a month now. Kinda just waiting for an actual nerf. Top lane is my favorite lane to play in but every single time my lane opp is.. guess who! -_-'. So from what I've seen on almost every strat to beat this guy is "Don't die to him". Really? That's the strat for any lane opponent... I mean.. How is not dying to someone counter play? Was really hoping when I saw his name in the patch notes recently that I could go back into SR, but that nerf barely tickled. Come on. I pretty much have one option for playing SR right now, and that is good ol' . But wait! I can't even take her in the same lane as him, because he completely murders any lane opponent he has! So take her mid then. Okay, well even then I have to be very far ahead to actually kill a before he kills me. Which is kinda silly considering how stupidly strong is and has been for some time. My brother-in-law, who has mained for some time, won't even touch him right now because he feels like it's not fun to play him and it's a jerk move to pick him. (Pretty much how I feel about ). Can we give this guy some counter-play that doesn't involve 3 man ganks?

Darius does less damage until he reaches max stacks.

He needs a damage rebalance, he feels a lot more like a cc assassin than a tanky brawler right now. What I think should be done:

Lower q's bonus damage from x2 the normal damage, to x1.5 normal damage

Hemorrhage only lasts 4 seconds, rather than 5, but deals the same amount of damage total.

Noxonian might only gives Darius bonus attack damage, not additional hemorrhage stacks on enemies.

Crippling strike's slow now lasts 2 seconds but decays over time.

Apprehend no longer gives free armor pen, and the slow scales 50/60/70/80/90% with rank.

Base damage is physical rather than True, however additional damage granted by hemorrhage stacks are true damage.

Then use Quinn bro. I'll even help you with some advise. See a hook coming? Q him so he doesnt get any auto dmg off. The blind should last long enough for you to e away and every e comes with a free marked target. :3 counters bro counters

The sustain from his Q makes his laning phase a nightmare.

"Move away" he walks up to me and I don't have an escape beyond flash.

"Go into the inner circle" he walks away because he can move in cast.

Why can't we cancel his Q with a stun?

I saw an Ashe completely dominate Darius because she outranged his abilities, and perma-slowed him. Needless to say Darius couldn't farm and was under constant pressure because perma-slow + gank = easy kills.

Try playing Ashe, I suppose, but ideally Vladimir has the best counter-play to Darius. That doesn't mean you'll instantly win though.

Other possible picks include those not dependent on interupts, Yi, Fiora, Garen, Teemo, and more.
