Tips on Getting Out of Bronze

So I placed last season at Bronze 1. Ok, cool. I can climb out of this, I thought. However, little did I notice my mistake until LCS Champs ended. I made the bonehead mistake of placing at the end of a season! Now, that aside, I placed in bronze V the next season. Not discourage, I began the climb as an Ekko/Talon main, and am now in the process of learning Ahri. I make it fairly smoothly to bronze 3. Now here where my troubles begin. Over the past week, I have never been on the better team. I have been winning my lane MOST of the time (you can check my match history; I don't win when I am counterpicked very often) and I try to roam as much as possible while thinking on my feet and knowing when to and not to engage I also try to give my team kills when I roam if they find themselves behind. However, recently, I have had several teammates who seemed to have single digit IQ's (rushing in 1v5 when the team isnt even there yet because they have a good K/D, trying to steal baron as an adc from the river 1v5, etc. etc.) as well as plain overextending and lack of vision. Now I know it is bad to blame my team, but to my bad luck, I must be honest and say I have been matched with freakin apes. I do admit I have had my share of terrible games (Ekko vs Cass, for example), but because of simply being on the wrong team 8/10 times, I am now falling down to b4. HELP ME PLS. 1 help = 1 prayer

Play well. You have to play as well as platinum to do it, as your opponents are quite likely plat/diamond smurfs making real money either with selling accounts they are getting out of bronze, or by mercenary play.

Players in nearly all ratings make tons of mistakes, it just takes you being able to identify those mistakes and take advantage of them while minimizing your own. Play aggro and learn how to dominate your lane, especially as a champions like ekko and talon. Once you can dominate your lane, take that advantage to other lanes.

I say take risks all the time, you're going to learn from those risks. If something is like a 50/50 chance of working out, do it. Your goal should be improving, and climbing from that improvement. You cannot just rely on your team to do decent. Zed and ekko are early game picks. Take the kills unless you find that teammate competent and can trust them.

Don't even think about your team, just play to improve and learn how to destroy your lane opponent. If you can do that consistently, you will climb fast.

one way to get out of bronze is farming and splitpushing to death, basically brute forcing wins. but knowing how to do it properly, that's the key.
