My friends and I play a lot of custom games (Often 5v5) and have extra who want to spectate the game. Recently, we've asked ourselves why custom games have the 3 minute spectate delay. Anyone know of a reason for this? Potentially adding a no delay option for custom games would be pretty cool, no?

Mainly because spectators could give players an unfair advantage by telling them where the enemy team is, what they have warded, what objectives they're rotating towards, etc.

The option would be really nice, yeah. Unfortunately Riot doesn't really spend much time focusing on custom games / practice tool QOL updates :/
